CASSATT – Funeral services for Charles M. Branham, Sr., 61, will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at The First Church of the Nazarene, with burial to follow in Deliverance Tabernacle Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Tennant Sr. and the Rev. David Snodgrass will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter at 460 Fair St, Camden, SC 29020. Mr. Branham passed away Monday, July 22, 2013. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Robert and Carrie Bell Spires Branham. He enjoyed gardening, construction work, and spoiling his dogs. Mr. Branham loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Sarah “Janice” Branham; son Charles “Mike” Branham, Jr. (Peggi) of Florence; daughter, Stephanie Branham (Kenneth “Scot”) of Columbia; grandchildren, Zachary Branham, Charles “Charlie” Branham III, Andrew Branham; brothers, Bobby Branham, Lawson Branham, Olin Branham, William Branham; sisters, Josephine Branham, Ellen Stokes, and Phyllis Hayes. He was predeceased by brothers, Steve Branham and Legrande Branham.
