This first time I met Michael was when I saw him move in and I welcomed him to the neighborhood. I remembered going to his house and keep him company and he would tell me stories about being in the Marines and about the guns and helicopters and airplanes. He taught me how to draw and told me that"art was about anything" he also told me jokes. One thing he told me was to "never give up my dreams of who I wanted to be when I grew up". He told me that one of his sons was in the war and would ride in a Huey and the helicopter would tell him how far to shoot, and if the helicopter would tell him the wrong thing then the helmet would correct it. Things are different now, I wont forget the things he told me and my friends. I will never forget you Michael. You are in a better place because you have Choas your best buddy. We all love and miss you. Hugs and kisses from everybody. Last but not least Michael used to call my chiuhahua "peanut". Your friend, Alondra

As Chaplain of the Speedy Wilson Detachment of the Marine Corps League, I have been one of Michael's helpers for the past few years. I was saddened to hear about his untimely death.
