CAMDEN – Graveside service for Brenda Sue Owens, 67, will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Hugh McKinney, Rev. Todd Horton and Rev. Wayne Flowers will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church. Mrs. Owens, wife of the late Hoyt Frank Owens, died Sunday, November 06, 2011. Born in Ridgeway, she was a daughter of Bertha Janette Brown Rabon and the late Charlie Tillman Rabon, Sr. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College and retired from teaching in the public school system. She was a member of the Pilot Club of Camden and Lakeview Baptist Church. Surviving are her step-sons, Warren Owens and Glenn Owens; brothers, Virgil Rabon (Betty) of West Columbia and C.T. Rabon (Marie) of Lugoff; sister, Virginia Atkinson (Rev. Marion Atkinson) of Sylvester, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
