COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Nola Oma Gilmore, 78, will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Wallace Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pets Inc. Mrs. Gilmore, wife of the late William E. Gilmore, died Sunday, October23, 2011. Born in Coal River, W.V., she was the daughter of the late French and Sarah Hazel Stover. She was a member of Earlwood Baptist Church and enjoyed her beloved English Bulldogs, “Buford” and “Ringo”. Surviving are her sons, William E. Gilmore II of Columbia; and sister, Patsy Athey of Beckley, W.V. She was predeceased by brothers, Warren Stover, Calvin Stover, and Clifford Stover.
