LUGOFF – A memorial service Doris Ann Rogers, 75, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Dulaney will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Gideons International, PO Box 664, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mrs. Rogers, wife of the late Carl W. Rogers, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Mamie Peake Arledge. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Sherry Williams (David) of Dominican Republic and Shannon Rogers of Camden; sisters, Mary Varnadore of Lugoff and Jessie Mae Varnadore of Fort Lawn, S.C.; and a granddaughter, Cinnamon Williams of Ohio. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Jean Rogers; brothers, James Arledge, LeRoy Arledge and George Arledge; and sisters, Myrtle Hill and Bonnie Ryburn.
