LUGOFF – Funeral service for Frances W. Norris, 80, will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Lugoff First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Greg Sweet and the Rev. David Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 9:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Lugoff First Baptist Church. Mrs. Norris, wife of the late George Norris, died Monday, October 17, 2011. Born in Timmonsville, she was a daughter of the late Otto and Macie Sainsbury Weaver. She formerly worked for B.C. Moore in Camden. She was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing. Surviving are sons, George Norris Jr. (Martha) of West Columbia and Richard Norris of Charlotte; daughter, Susan Weatherford (Dennis) of Lugoff; sister, Ann Stokes of Florence; grandchildren, Maegen Stokes (Britt), Morgan Rabon (Jason), and Dallas Norris (Katreka); and great-grandchildren, Jacob Austin Rabon, Brooke Mayson Rabon, Michael Dallas Norris, and Ethan Riley Norris. She was predeceased by brothers, O.W. Weaver and Elbert Weaver; and sisters, Mary Galloway, Bobby Langston and Mildred Mines.
