LUGOFF – Services for Robert Edward Conant, 72, will be held at a later date in Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the American Heart Association. Mr. Conant passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Beulah Obin Conant. He enjoyed reading car magazines. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Deanna Conant; sons, Edward Conant, Robert Conant, Rick Conant, Richard Napolitano (Lisa); daughters, Susan Powers (Craig), Deborah Ditrocchio; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughters, Janina Napolitano, Theresa Napolitano; sisters, Gail Valentino, Joyce Hutchinson; grandchild, Nicholas Conant, Blake Conant; and a daughter-in-law, Melisa Conant.
