CAMDEN - Funeral service for John Daniel “Danny” Cook, 57, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Church of God of Prohecy, 2354 Haile Street, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mr. Cook died Friday, August 17, 2007. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late John Carson and Laura Edith Branham Cook. He was a member of Church of God of Prophecy and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Ruth M. Cook; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Kristy Cook, Chris and Tammy Cook, Brian and Trena Cook, and Eric and Alicia Cook; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Jerry Freeman, and Doretha and Howard Branham; and grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew Cook, Abbey and Riley Cook, Brianna, Kala, Chloee and Allana Cook, Jordan, Jarrett and Gavin Ennis, and Hailey Fulk.
