ROBERTA A. KNAPPENBERGER ELGIN – A memorial service for Roberta Ann Knappenberger, 75, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Bachman, Kulik and Reinsmith Funeral Home in Emmaus, Pa. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Knappenberger died Monday, June 13, 2011. Born in Allentown, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Alfred Ehlert and Herta Ehlert. She was a homemaker and school crossing guard and enjoyed gardening and bowling. Surviving are her husband, Arthur Knappenberger; sons, Gary Knappenberger of Allentown, Pa., Dennis Knappenberger (Kathleen) of Emmaus, Pa., and Brian Knappenberger (Kelly) of Albertus, Pa.; daughter, Louise Whitney (Ed Griesser) of Bally, Pa.; brother, Forrest Rimer; sisters, Gloria Bonenbergerand and Joan Lusk; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Allen Rimer and Paul Rimer; and sister, Doris.
