CAMDEN – Funeral service for Mary Virginia Boone Childers, 60, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. J.R. Rosado will be officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Childers died Monday, May 30, 2011. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mildred Mahoney Childers. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed NASCAR and fishing. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Boone; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Raymond and Tanisha Boone of Kershaw; brother and sister-in-law, Danny M. and Ruby Childers of Atlanta; grandchildren, Jonathan Boone, Samuel Boone, Hope Boone, Jay Williams, Josh Williams, and Joe Williams; and great-grandchildren, Shyanna Boone, Breeanna Boone, Jayden Waites, and Emily Williams. She was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Williams; and brother, Gary Childers.
