CAMDEN – Funeral Service for Mary Catherine Myers Wescott, 75, will be held Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff with burial to follow in Mizpah Baptist Church Cemetery, Camden. The Rev. Ernest Rabon will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Mrs. Wescott, wife of the late Frank Wescott, died Monday, May 30, 2011. Born in Richland County, March 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Letha Williams Capell. She was a member of Mizpah Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and gardening. Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Myers Nunn of Lugoff and Sarah Myers Jackson (Ron) of Elloree; sons, James Ed Myers (Michelle) of Cheraw and Jeffrey Myers of Lugoff; sisters, Nancy Amerson, June Mathis, and Sue Garvin; brother, Larry Capell and Donald Capell; grandchildren, Luke Williams, Leigh Williams, Catherine Nunn, Lillie Myers, Les Kelley, and Stephen Team; and great-grandchildren, Joseph Reed, Xadia Williams, and Bryn Kelley. She was predeceased by her first husband, James E. Myers.
