COLUMBIA – Services for Richard James Slade, 64, will be private. Mr. Slade died Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Born in Colorado Springs, Colo., he was a son of the late John Erwin Slade Jr. and Imogene Brand Slade. Surviving are his brother, Larry Slade (Betty) of Camden; and sister, Carolyn Lemacks (Roger) of Columbia.
