Mr. Winfred L. Noe of South Carolina, formerly of Greensburg, son of the late Curtis Thomas Noe and Ellen Poynter Noe, was born on October 18, 1946 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, April 25, 2011 in South Carolina. He was 64 years, six months and seven days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Monroe Baptist Church. He was also retired from General Electric. Survivors include a brother and three sisters: Charles Noe and Dorothy Scott of Summersville, Pauline Noe Gillem of South Carolina and Aluria Romines of Lewisburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister: Sophia and Joe Allen Noe. The funeral services for Mr. Winfred L. Noe will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Sammy Romines will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M., Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Friday until time of the funeral services.
