CAMDEN - Services for Robert Raymond Confer, 63, will be private. Mr. Confer died Thursday, April 28, 2011. Born in Allentown, Pa., he was the son of Lona Smith Confer and the late Raymond Henry Confer. He served in the United States Army as a sergeant and fought in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. He went on to work for Mack Truck and retired after 32 years. He was a member of the American Legion and was an avid hunter. Surviving is his wife, Denise Potteiger Confer; mother, Lona Confer of West Coastville, PA.; daughter, Michele Stametz of Freemansburg, Pa..; son, Christopher Confer of Allentown, Pa..; and 4 grandchildren, Damion, Jax, Madison, and Ethan.
