LUGOFF – Home going service for Charlene Marie Marthers, 38, will be held Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Arizona DeVane will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Charlene died Monday, February 21, 2011. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Charles Victor Marthers and Mary Jo Wilson Marthers. Surviving are her parents of Lugoff; daughters, Ashlyn Bennett and Josie Bennett, both of Lugoff; sister, Denise Marthers; niece, Delilah, nephew, T.J., all of Elgin; granddaughter, Shamia Gary; and grandparents, Leroy and Connie Wilson of North, and Naomi Brazell of Columbia.
