CAMDEN – A memorial service for Darlene Ham Woody, 69, will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Malvern Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Craig Thompson and Rev. Buster Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Malvern Hill Baptist Church Food Bank. Mrs. Woody, wife of the late Ora Edsel Woody, died Sunday, February 20, 2011. Born in Timmonsville, she was a daughter of the late Allison and Elizabeth Evans Ham. She attended Malvern Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Coffee Break Bowling Club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Ginger Mayer of Camden; son, Dent Woody (Amy) of Camden; brothers, Carson Ham (Linda) of Camden and Steve Ham (Ann) of Columbia; brother-in-law, Harry Woody of Camden; and grandchildren, Drew Mayer (Cassie), Tabitha Mayer, Brett Thompson, Jordan Woody, Madison Woody, Zach Thompson, Shan Woody, and Max Woody. She was predeceased by sons, Ed Woody and Eric Woody; and sisters, Betty Gail Williams, Dale Ham, and Diane Ham.
