CAMDEN – Funeral service for Rosana Dow, 79, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Freddie Thomas will officiate. Mrs. Dow, wife of the late Richard C. Dow, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Born in Boykin, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Rebecca Fowler Burroughs. She was the Church Mother of Evangelistic Community Center. She was a former choir member and served on the missionary society. Surviving are her children, Susie Adams of Westville, N.J., Morris Dow (Rhonda) of Camden, Barbara Jasper of Camden, Leola Dow of Camden, Mary Kirkland (Francis) of Columbia, Bessie Dow of Camden, Pastor Vivian Norwood (Wendell)of Camden, Larry Dow (Vernell) of Camden, Osteen Dow of Camden, Co-Pastor Marie Stewart (Andrew) of Columbia, Meola Dow of Camden, Katie Dow of Camden and Richard Dow (Lula) of Camden; brother, James Wesley Burroughs; sisters, Leola Richardson of New York and Estelle Seymoure (El Rico) of New Jersey; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Lewis Dow; daughters, Annette Dow and Rosana Dow; brother, Henry Burroughs; sister, Dorothy Burroughs.
