LUGOFF – A memorial service for Carolyn Martha McNamara Boisvert, 87, formerly of Lebanon, N.H., will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter. Mrs. Boisvert, wife of the late Clement R. Boisvert, died Thursday, December 30, 2010. Born in Acton, Mass., she was a daughter of the late John F. and Florence Sarah Downer McNamara. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lebanon, N.H. and attended Camden First Baptist Church. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kim Boisvert of Lugoff, Barry and Mary Beth Boisvert of Hooksett, N.H., and Brian and Robin Boisvert of Wilson, Kan.; brother, John McNamara; sister-in-law, Regis McNamara; grandchildren, JoAnn B. Crowley (Chris), Jody Boisvert (Dawn), Susan B. Thomas (Forest), Mindy Ann Boisvert, Christa Marie Boisvert, Brandon Boisvert, Riley Boisvert, Stormy Boisvert, and Ryan Sarah Pfannenstiel (Brian); and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Basil McNamara and Ronald McNamara; and sister, Persis Barker. The family expresses their appreciation to Dr. Kearse and his staff, Dr. Moore and his staff, the nurses of KershawHealth Med II, and Brooke, Megan, Loreen, Cheryl and the volunteers with KershawHealth Hospice for their loving care and support.
