ELGIN – Funeral service for Fay Jane Robinson, 72, will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Elgin Ward, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson died Thursday, December 23, 2010. Born in Wilmington, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Katie Wells Davis. Surviving are her husband, Woodrow Vinson Robinson; children, Richard Nieves, Tina Tubbs, Cindy Crawford, Ida Faulkenberry, Franklin Delanor Roosevelt Tubbs Jr., Vinson Lee Robinson, and Amber Dawn Robinson; brothers, Charles Davis and Norwood Davis; 34 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy Lee Davis.
