CAMDEN – Funeral service for Hazel Louise Hinson, 63, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Burch Kelly will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice. Mrs. Hinson, wife of the late Mack Hinson, died Saturday, November 27, 2010. Born in Douglasville, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Harold Strickland and Mozella Henry Myers. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughters, Teresa Hinson of Camden and Pamela Bowers of Camden; sons, Wayne Hinson of Cassatt, Jimmy Hinson (Tracey) of Lake Mary, Fla., and Max Hinson of Cassatt; brother, Douglas Strickland (Dorothy) of Powers Spring, Ga.; sisters, Shirley Frazier of Camden and Linda Anderson of Camden; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, William Hinson; and brother, James Strickland.
