CAMDEN – A celebration of life service for Leslie Zemp Hayes, 78, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby James will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Hayes passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Charlie and Edna Tidwell Hayes. He enjoyed fishing. Surviving are his son, Timothy Barnes, Sr., (Dawn) of Lugoff; grandson Timothy Barnes, Jr. of Lugoff; brother, Donald Hayes (Linda) of Camden; and a special friend, Naomi Barnes of Camden. He was predeceased by brothers, John Howard Hayes, Everett Hayes, Earl Hayes, George Hayes; and a sister, Sarah Bennett.
