LUGOFF - Service for Doris Marie Shipton, 72, will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro, N.C. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Powers Funeral Home is in charge locally. Mrs. Shipton died Wednesday, June 13, 2007. Born in Goldsboro, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Bert and Esther Ethridge Mason. Surviving are her husband, Donald E. Shipton; son, Robert Allen Bridgers; stepdaughter, Kimberly Hoffman; three brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren; and one step granddaughter.
