LUGOFF – Funeral service for Alice Faile Croft, 89, will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. Rev. Bill Dulaney will officiate. The family will receive friend Wednesday 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Council on Literacy. Mrs. Croft, wife of the late Purdy T. Croft, died Sunday, September 12, 2010. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late John and Bertha Wilson Faile. She enjoyed cooking. Surviving are her son, Steve Croft of Lugoff; sisters, Barbara Horne, Viola Boone; grandchildren, Chris Croft (Farrah) of Lugoff; and great-grandchildren, MiLee Croft. She was predeceased by brothers, Johnny Faile and Leroy Faile; and sisters, Jesse Cole and Lillie Faile
