Obituary of Deborah K. Kelly
CAMDEN - A celebration of life service for Deborah Kay Kelly, 55, will be held Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Rev. Jed Bryant, Rev. Joe Stines, and Rev. Gliss Cribb will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorial may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the Kershaw County Public Library.
Mrs. Kelly died Thursday, June 24, 2010. Born in Orangeburg, she was a daughter of the late John Calvin Hutchinson and Wincie McDonald Joyner. She received her Associates Degree from Midlands Technical College. She retired in 2009 from the Kershaw County Public Library where she truly loved working with the staff and the public. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed NASCAR.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Michael A. “Mike” Kelly of Camden; son, John Calvin “J.C.” Kelly (Mandy) of Camden; sisters, Jackie Kirkland of Lugoff, Betty McDaniel (Burney) of Orangeburg, Phyllis Phillips (Bob) of Lugoff, and Delilah Yandle of Columbia; mother-in-law, Kathryn Kelly of Camden; and nieces and nephews, Steve Kirkland, Rochelle Potter, Mark McDaniel, Mike McDaniel, Dalene McDaniel, Terrie Guinn, Richard Yandle, and Christine Furr. She was predeceased by nephew, Nick Phillips.
