CAMDEN - Graveside service for Michael Shawn Gross, 31, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Heath Springs. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Laken Gross College Fund c/o Wachovia Bank. Mr. Gross, husband of the late Danica B. Gross, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Born in Elkins, W.V., he was a son of Donna G. Varney Rogall and the late Donald R. Gross. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed mud bogging, playing racket ball and fellowship with his friends. He was a member of Sandhills Community Church where he was involved in small groups and the men’s ministry. Surviving are his daughter, Laken Gross of the home; mother, Donna Rogall and her husband, Gunther of Bethune; and a brother, Kurtis Rogall of Bethune.
