CAMDEN - Services for Fred E. Marshall, 85, will be private. Memorials may be made to the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. Mr. Marshall, husband of 52 years to the late Evelyn Franko Marshall, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Born on August 13, 1924, in Bristol, Tenn., he was the son of the late Ernest and Madeline Campbell Marshall. He served in the United States Marine Corp during WW II aboard the USS Belleau Wood in the Pacific Theatre. He retired from General Electric after 37 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are his daughters, Ginny Caraco (Joe) of Camden, and Candy Hartzog (Brady) of Heber City, Utah; sister, Doris Blair (Bob) of Bristol, Tenn.; grandchildren, Paul Hartzog (Jenn), Chris Hartzog, and Donald Caraco (Beth); and great-grandchildren, Ian and Sean Hartzog.
