CAMDEN - Funeral service for Grace Carolyn Atkinson Joyner, 76, will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 7-9 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Joyner died Monday, April 5, 2010. Born in Hartsville, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ola Dixon Atkinson. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Camden Ward. She enjoyed fishing, and spending time at the beach and mountains. Surviving are her husband, John Virgil Joyner; children, Smylie Grantham, Jr. (Audrey) of Florence, William Cola Grantham of Colorado, Virgil Allen Joyner of Camden, Cynthia Joyner Small (Billy Ray, Jr.) of Camden, Susan King (Michael) of Bishopville, Virgie Marie Locklear of Bishopville, John R. Joyner (Susan) of Birmingham, Ala., and Mitchell Allen Joyner (Teresa) of Bishopville; brothers, Bobby Atkinson (Alice) of Myrtle Beach, and Albert Atkinson (Joyce) of Summerville; 24 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Harold Atkinson and Alvin Atkinson.
