LUGOFF - Funeral service for Matthew Kelly Baggott, 34, will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Evan Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 2:30 -4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Matthew died Friday, March 12, 2010. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Sheryl Smith Shelly and the late Larry Baggott. He was a sales associate with K-Mart and attended Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, who dearly loved him. Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Lynn Walker Baggott; children, Kathleen Baggott, Leslie Moseley, and Madison Baggott; mother, Sheryl Shelly and her husband, Dudley of West Columbia; step-mother, Kim Baggott of Lexington; sister, Jennifer Rhinehart of West Columbia, and Katie Baggott of Lexington; grandmother, Margaret Smith; great-grandmother, Helen Black; and many friends.
