LUGOFF-Funeral service for Rembert Keith, 86, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Rowan Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Phillip McCoy will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Rowan Presbyterian Church, 818 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, S.C. Mr. Keith died Friday, March 12, 2010. Born in Blaney, S.C. he was the son of the late Thomas M. Keith and Ada C. Hinson. He retired from Dupont in 1984 and was a self employed electrician. Mr. Keith was a member of Rowan Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed gardening and preserving figs and pears. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wilma R. Dinkins Keith of Lugoff; son, R. Michael (Kathy) Keith of Greer, S.C.; grandchildren, Jason M. Keith of Herndon, Va., Melinda K. (Daniel) Seibert of Rockville, Md., Sherry L. (Will) Faulkenberry of Lancaster, S.C., and Karen R. Keith of Piedmont, S.C.; and 4 great-grandchildren, Logan Faulkenberry, Karli Faulkenberry, Austin Keith and Gage Hutchinson. He was predeceased by son, Robert L. Keith; sisters, Elizabeth Adrian, Sara Bradley, and Mildred Hall; brothers, Everett Keith and Carl Keith.
