LUGOFF - Funeral service for Cecile David, 50, will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Cecile died Thursday, May 3, 2007. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late H.C. and Bonita Plessinger Massey. A graduate of Wadsworth High School and Lane County Vocational School, she worked for Standard Corporation as a planner and scheduler. Cecile enjoyed painting, gardening, woodworking, mechanics, sewing and computers. She attended Lugoff Friendship Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, John E. David; children, Kendra David of Lugoff, LeAnn Kitanic of Denver Colo., Shane David of Barberton, Ohio, and Brandy David of Canton, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Linda Massey of Creston, Ohio, and Carl and Diana Massey of Lugoff; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda and Don Wright of Huntsville, Ala., and Pamela Massey of Doyleston, Ohio; and 3 grandchildren.
