COLUMBIA - Felicitas (Fay) A. Summers, 86, of Columbia, S.C., passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 in National Health Care Parklane. Fay was born in Berlin, Germany on October 17, 1923, to Ernst and Toni Baumgarten. She was a founding member of Woodfield Park Baptist Church and later a faithful member of Northeast Presbyterian Church. “Omi” as she was known to her family, kept an immaculate well run home and was extremely proud of her 5 grandchildren, Clay, Rodney, Jamie, Christi, and Terri; and 7 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Vance, Thomas, Bryce, Joseph, Ella Grace and Chandler. Fay is survived by her sons, Gregory Summers and his wife, Debbie, and Jeffory Summers and his wife, Mary; brother, Klaus Baumgarten, and his wife, Ramona; and cousin, Ursula Goetze.
