CAMDEN – Mrs. Ireva Averette Price, 87, died Thursday, May 23, 2013. Born on December 19, 1925 in Granville County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas G. and Unity Allen Averette. She retired from Kendall Company and was a member of Bethune Baptist Church. She enjoyed birds, Crewel, flowers, gardening, and most of all spending time with family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Ruth Stevens (Newell), Thomas W. Price, Richard L. Price (Nancy), Charles David Price (Linda), Rosemerry Williams (Lanny), Merryrose Radford (Hank), and Joseph Averett Price (Ron); sisters, Joyce Atkins, Jenny Harrison, Sue Avertte and Allie Beach; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Tina Rabasa and Mabel Bragg. The family will receive friends Saturday 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Bethune Baptist Church, Bethune, S.C. Graveside service will be private.
