CAMDEN - Funeral service for Vesta Gail Horner Baker, 71, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Everett Reconnu and Rev. Donnie Barrett will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Baker died Sunday, January 3, 2010. Born in Decatur, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Johnny S. and Louise Holland Horner. She worked at Skyline Manufacture for 23 years and retired from Jubilee. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and enjoyed ceramics and crocheting. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Braton E. Baker, Jr.; sister, JoAnn Ogburn and her husband, Onnie of Lake Murray; and 12 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Johnny S. Horner, Jr., Jerry W. Horner, and Little Jack Horner.
