LUGOFF - Funeral service for Kenneth Lewie “Kenny” Gardner, 55, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 Fair Street, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mr. Gardner died Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Born in Camden, he was a son of Lewie C. Gardner and Eloise Hornsby Rankin. He enjoyed music, NASCAR, football, and his pets. Surviving are his father of Lugoff; mother of Columbia; sister, Donna Gardner of Columbia; and nephew, Taylor Gardner.
