LEXINGTON - Sheridan “Sherry” Davis Osborne of 123 Gibson Road, Lexington ,SC passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Born August 15, 1948 to Charlie W. Davis and the late Bernice Smith Davis, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Andrew Shipman. Mrs. Osborne is survived by her husband of twenty years, Bence Richard Osborne, Sr., her three daughters, Christy Harmon (Bobby) of Lexington SC, Mary Ann Keim (Michael) of Columbia, SC and Tammy Maroney (Brian) of Batesburg, SC.; father, Charlie W. Davis of Lexington SC; sister, Jacquelyn “Lynn” Batten (Carlie) of Troy, NC; brother, “Bill” Davis (Kathleen) of West Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Jordan Keim and Willow Maroney; and one niece, Ashley Mitchke (Nick) of NC. Mrs. Osborne also had five stepchildren; Bence Richard Osborne, Jr., Samantha Osborne, Lora Freeman, Scott Barrett and Tory Osborne. Mrs. Osborne was a faithful believer in the goodness of humanity and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the True Light Church of Christ and will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Powers Funeral Home 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, SC 29078. Mrs. Osborne’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Rabon Family Cemetery.
