CASSATT - Funeral service for James Floyd Ray, 66, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Cassatt Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Brown will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Cassatt Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Cassatt Baptist Church. Mr. Ray died Monday, October 12, 2009. Born in Cassatt, he was a son of the late Leonard and Myrtle Robinson Ray. He was a member of Cassatt Baptist Church. Before his illness, Mr. Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, bee keeping and model trains. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Barbara W. Ray; daughter, Chris (Tony) Kelly of Camden; son, Dale (Betty) Ray of Kershaw; sisters, Mary (Howard) Ford of Lugoff and Jerlene (Paul) Williams of Atworth, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
