CASSATT - Funeral service for Linda Gale Rodgers, 64, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Steve Leigh and Rev. Marvin Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mrs. Rodgers died Saturday, October 10, 2009. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late H.W. and Bernice Branham Bullock. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. She loved working crossword puzzles and valued spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Clyburn W. Rodgers; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela R. and Jeffrey Thompson of Camden, and Staci R. and Stephen Sims of Westville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Buster and Elsie Bullock of Bishopville, Jerry and Becky Bullock of Camden, and Steve and Annette McCaskill of Cassatt; and grandchildren, Chase Thompson, Jacob Sims, Christopher Sims, Jonathan Sims, and Emma Sims.
