ELGIN-Funeral service for Chester L. Baughman, 78, will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Baughman, husband of the late Mary Baughman, died Monday, September 07, 2009. Born in Aiken County, he was a son of the late Walter and Maggie Seigler Baughman. Surviving are his children, Katherine Marie Baughman, Ronnie Kenneth Baughman, Sr., and Ellen Catoe DeFusco; brother, Foster Baughman; sisters, Etrulia Couch and Shirley Lunsford; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
