CAMDEN - Funeral service for Josephine Mobley “Judy” Hilton, 96, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Camden or the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Mrs. Hilton, wife of the late David Earl “Footsie” Hilton (former Sheriff of Kershaw County), died Friday, September 04, 2009. Born in Kershaw, she was daughter of the late George W. and Florence Coates Mobley. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Camden and a former member of the Camden Business and Professional Women’s Club. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Wallace Dixon of Cassatt, and Joey and Kenneth Baker of Camden; sister, Georgia Kirkland of Georgetown, S.C.; grandchildren, Earl (Katie) Baker, Kevin Baker, Dawn (Don) Watkins, Angie (Derek) Gillis and David (April) Dixon; and great-grandchildren, Karlie and Samantha Watkins, Duncan, Adalae, and Dutch Gillis, Meagan and Zoey Baker. She was predeceased by brother, Boyce Mobley; and sister, Elizabeth Lannom.
