LUGOFF - Funeral service for Carolyn H. Miles, 67, will be held Monday at 5:00 p.m. at El-Bethel Faith Community Church with burial to follow in Hardshell Cemetery. Rev. Joe Stines, Rev. George Cashwell, and Rev. Charles Roark will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 7-9 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Miles died Saturday, August 22, 2009. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Perry and Nannie Hinson Small. She was a Home Interior designer and a dog breeder. Surviving are her husband George Miles; sister, Clara Ford of Lugoff; brother and sister-in-law, Horace and Eva Small of Lancaster; step-sons, Ricky Miles and his wife, Julie of Elgin, and Dennis Miles of Fla.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Albert and Betty Miles, Wilbert and Donna Miles, Chris and Jackie Miles, and Knolton and Pat Miles; and 19 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Mary Webster.
