Myra and family: My family and I are so sad about Uncle James' passing. He and Aunt Dot held a very special place in my heart. I'll never forget all the good times we had with them growing up in Columbus. I can still feel the noogies Uncle James gave after all these years. Donna reminded me that she and her maid-of-honor stayed at your folk's house the night before our wedding. They were such gracious hosts. I'm so thankful that I was able to attend the Hendon reunion last year and spend some time with Uncle James. He was an outstanding mentor and a great man. I will miss him.

I will miss Mr. Daniel and his care and concern for others. He was always ministering to others. If you tried to pray for him, he would in return pray for you no matter how bad he was feeling. Some of our last visits were getting him caught up on everything going on at Mt. Elon. He served our church well for many years in different capacities. He was not the easiest peron sometimes to deal with but you knew you had a real true friend. He and Mrs. Daniel were loved by many. She could get him calm if he got upset about something. They were great together. Our prayers go out to the family, but I know they have faith and will be fine. Love, Alice
