CAMDEN - Funeral service for Eileen Elsie Boyce, 84, will be held Monday, August 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Rev. Everett Reconnu will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation or the American Cancer Society, 647 Lachicotte Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mrs. Boyce died Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Born in Toronto, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Elsie Maltby Elston. Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Joseph Ronald Boyce; step-daughters, Cindy Lee Anthony and Jodie Lynn Droniak; sisters, Lois Baker and Sylvia Lavis; 3 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
