LUGOFF-Funeral service for Kenneth Martin, 57, will be held Monday 12:30 p.m. at Sutton Branch Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to New Life Christian Outreach. Mr. Martin died Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late David and Ernestine Wood Martin. Surviving are his wife, Charlene White Martin; daughter, Jessica Martin of Lugoff; grandson, Dreyson Lee; and sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Donald Mickle. He was predeceased by a grandson Dakari Lee.
