LUGOFF-A memorial service for, Willie T. “Papa Billy” Simon, Sr., 77, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Levels Baptist Church, Aiken, S.C. Mr. Simon died Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Born in Aiken, S.C., he was the son of the late James T. Simon and Viola Marie Moseley Simon. Surviving are his sons, Willie (Sue) T. Simon, Jr. of Aiken; James (Chona) T. Simon of Goldsboro, N.C.; Larry (Donna) Simon of Bath, S.C.; Willie (Loretta) Simon of Lugoff, and Tony Simon; and daughter, Carrie (John) Skillman of Lugoff; and numerous grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jackie McGee.
