To everyone that touched Richards life:
Family, Friends, coworkers, and the entire MRMA family. It is on mine and my mothers behalf that I can only say What a Truly Wonderful Man Richard Spiegal was. He touched many of our lives in a way that we will never forget. Happy memories; fishing together, camping together, singing karaoke together, and most reminiscent; Playing Bingo together! During this difficult time that WE ALL feel what a huge loss losing Richard has been; one thing reminds me that even though he is gone, he will NEVER be forgotten. And knowing that he would want us to know he is finally at peace, no longer suffering. And that even though we should all mourn his loss in our own way. That we should also Celebrate the wonderful and unforgettable life of such a courageous man that touched ALL OF US in one way or another, Mr. Richard Spiegal.
For that is what Richard would want us to do.
With Deepest Condolences, We Love You Richard! The Lacy Family

Brenda, May your fondest memories bring you peace and comfort Richard would wish for you. I wanted to share my thought's with you about Richard.
I don't think of you as gone away, but your journey has just begun, Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one. I will think of you as resting from the sorrows and tears in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years. I know you would wish that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. I will think of you as living in the hearts of those you touched... for nothing loved is ever lost.
"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shines down so that we know they are happy" -Indian Saying-
I will miss you an what you meant to me. You are a true brother.

Brenda, Jack & I are so sorry to hear about RIchard. He is no longer suffering. I remember how happy and excited you and RIchard were when you came to the church office, getting ready for your wedding. Your days were short with him, but they were happy ones. I wrote this poem to Richard on a day after getting off the phone with him and thinking to myself I should have said this to him or I should have said that. Mostly to let him know how proud we were of him. Our mother also wanted me to share this with you. I believe it speaks for all his family. Richards Sister Cathy.

Brenda we just wanted to let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Richard fought so hard to beat this terrible diease cancer. I know you were always right there for him and made him as comfortable as possible. Please know your church family is grieving along with you and is willing to help in any way. Just a thought: When someone you love becomes a memory; the memory becomes a treasure. Love in Christ!
