Pat, Stacy and Tonya,
Words can't express the feeling of loss that we are expierencing at this moment. Leon was such a wonderful person, true friend, and a brother in Christ Jesus. He was always willing to listen and help out. He will be missed by this family and many others likewise. We all had so many good times with your family, and have been reminiscing about them, sometime we would love to sit down and share them with you all. Our lives were far better because we were able to know him, we hope and pray that in some way we might be able be the kind of person Leon was, and lead our lives in the way he showed us. Leon will be missed in our community but not forgotten. If we can help in any way just let us know. Remember Psalms 116:15. The Pate family.

Pat & Family,
What a great Celebration of Life for Leon! The service was beautiful! Leon will be missed by everyone in our community. He was a wonderful person. You and your children have so much to be proud of. Just like both pastors said," it was always Leon & Pat"; you were like peanut butter and jelly. I always think of you and Leon at Christmas. The nativity set that I inherited from my mother in law did not have a stable. Leon made one for me years ago. It is beautiful. I will always treasure it. I am so blessed to have known you and Leon. God Bless you and your family.

Pat ,Stacy, Tonya and family, We were deeply saddened to hear of Leon's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Leon at Stacy and Jeff's home and was touched by his kindness. Some people you meet just leave you with a lasting impression. Leon was one of those people. When he visited Stacy to hear her ring Handbells in our Church he would always come up to me with his big smile and a firm handshake and say Hello. May God Bless your family during this mournful time.

To Pat, Tonya, Stacey and all of the family I offer my heart felt condolences in your great loss. God bless you in the days ahead.
Leon and I worked together at duPont, in operations and in two different maintenance shops and it was a pleasure to have worked with him. I got to know him very well and he was truly an honorable man and a good Christian. He had a great sense of humor and I can't ever remember him saying a bad thing about anyone.
He was proud of his family and loved them very much and talked to me about them many times.
I counted him as a good friend.

He was a fine gentelmen and one of my best friends for many years at the plant. He has dug me out of many holes during our career at Uncle E I. Going to Ridgeway will never be the same when I look at the beautiful home he has on Hwy 34. Our thoughts and prayers will be with the entire family as you adjust to his absence.
