Mr. and Mrs. Henderson and the boys, I know this is late and I hope that you see it, but I just have had Seth on my mind and this is what I found. I loved Seth very much. He was by best friend for a long time, and he always encouraged me in my life. I wanted for so long to come visit him, and now I regret that I didn't. He was awesome, and so were you guys. I have so many memories of him, and the boys. I remember him telling me "mom is going to be so made you bought the boys candy," and she was. I have kids now so I understand. The years have gone by so fast, but he is still clear in my mind. I will never forget the fun times we had at the beach, at the house, and at the Golden Coral. You all will be in my prayers forever.

Dear Hendersons, you have my deepest sympathy for your great loss. I have a framed photo of Seth and Patrick taken the night they graduated from CHS that has been on my bureau all these many years, and I think of you all each time I look at it, remembering what fun and funny times the two of them had together and how important their friendship was to both of them. I loved Seth from the time I first met him and I loved him because he was such a good friend to my son. I will always remember him with great affection, thinking of him now makes me smile. I hope that happy memories will ease your sadness and that the joy Seth brought into the world will live on in those who knew and loved him. You are in my thoughts and prayers and close to my heart always. Frannie

Seth, There are so many memories that I have of you that will stay with me for the rest of my life and I am grateful that I have them. From the days of looking for hubba hubba’s, to mudding and riding in the scirocco, the famous whole in the stairs leading upstairs that was made “invisible” by tape and white paint and then spilling the paint on the blue carpeted stairs, to the wholes in the kitchen wall from sliding across the floor butt naked running for the phone and narrowly missing the beam, to watching TV with you, helping take care of you after the accident, to telling you stuff that was going on in the news, taking care of you when mom and dad were at work or doing other things, to going on family trips camping and numerous other family trips and so many more that cant fit onto this page.

I knew Seth for a short time but he touched my heart and impacted my life in so many ways. I was used to taking care of elderly people so when I found out that my new patient was a young guy I was so excited. I thought "this is going to be so cool". My first impression was those beautiful eyes and I instantly went from taking care of a patient to taking care of "my buddy". My job with Seth was never a job, it was "AN ADVENTURE" (ha ha). The Hendersons took me in and I became part of the family. Because of Carol's flexable schedule, I was able to get through nursing school and take care of Seth. My added bonus was that Seth got to be my guinnie pig! (blood draws, IV's, reinserting his feeding tube that he pulled out and putting his catheter back on that he pulled off, he really wanted to break me in!) CONTINUED.............

Jim, Carol and the boys made Seths life a part of theirs, including him in outings, trips and adventures. There were no limitations. The love and devotion from them went above and beyond. I have so many wonderful memories and adventures that will never be forgotton. I hope that somewhere in that mind beyond the blank stare, Seth remembered them too.......Our jogging/walking trips through the woods and around the neighborhood. Quiet mornings on the front porch and "sunbathing" on the back deck. Our trip to Florida in the RV, I got to work and vacation at the same time! My weekend stays so Jim and Carol could get away and enjoy the well deserved breaks they needed. Seth will be missed terribly. Ben and I and all the kids send our love to Jim, Carol and the boys. "A true companion is loving all the time, and is is brother that is born for when there is distress" Proverbs 17:17

We have watched you grow from a young mischievious and inquisative little boy into a fine, loving young man. We have so many memories of you that will always keep you close to our hearts.
We witnessed the courage and love your family has for you and admired the tireless care they provided to you. The emptiness in all of our hearts will never be filled.
While you were here for such precious little time, you still touched all who knew you in such a big way. We will always remember your smile, your voice, and your love of life...our lives are better for having you in them.
We love and miss you very much.
