LUGOFF - Funeral service for Johnny Jones, 66, will be held Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at Fox Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Albert Gibson and Rev. Kenny Griffin will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-9 p.m. at Fox Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Jones died Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Born in Pamplico, he was a son of the late William James and Queen Esther Barneau Jones. He loved working on race cars. Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Margaret Jones; children, Billy (Pam) Bishop, Wanda Tucker; Barbara Gunner, Raford (Amanda) Baldwin; and Lisa Baldwin; sisters, Betty Jean Adams, Mary Kate Yarborough, and Angie Griffin; 6 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was predeceased by brother, Jimmy Jones; and sisters, Grace Lee Miles and Winnie Mae Springs.
