LAKE WATEREE - Funeral service for Cindy Lou Moon, 49, will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Mrs. Moon died Sunday, March 11, 2007. Born in Upland, Calif, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Phyllis Miller Slack. A graduate of Lamson Business College, she enjoyed crafts. Surviving are her husband of 29 years, James William “Jim” Moon; son, Jesse Moon of Columbia; daughter, Sarah Moon of Lugoff; brothers, Pete Slack and Walt Slack, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; and sisters, Donna Fowler of Victorville, Calif., and Windy LeClair of Las Vegas, Nev.
