CASSATT - Funeral service for Goldie A. Moseley, 70, will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church, Cassatt with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Buster Morris and Rev. Steve Leigh will officiate. The family will receive friend Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Moseley died Thursday, March 26, 2009. Born in Cassatt, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Angus Ray and Annie Hall Ray. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Johnny Moseley, Jr.; sons, Darrell (Lorraine) Bennett of Lake Wateree, Ray (Sandra) Bennett of Cassatt, David (Tammy) Moseley of Cassatt, and Chris (Tammy) Bennett of Cassatt; daughter, Amanda (John) McManus of Cassatt; brothers, Rendal Ray, Benny Ray, Roger Ray, Charles Ray, and David Ray; sisters, Elaine Robertson, and Debbie Blackwell; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson. She was predeceased by a sister, Susie Ray Moseley.
